Using Generator v1.71 with an Oracle 9.2.1 database, I get datatype MYSQLTIMESTAMP for NUMBER columns.
Reproduce code:

Patched it inserting the following row after rownum 319
case 'NUMBER':
bigger sample to get the picture
case 'DECIMAL':
case 'NUMERIC':
case 'NUMBER':
$type = DB_DATAOBJECT_INT; // should really by FLOAT!!! / MONEY...
break;
case 'YEAR':
