I think, that lines:

$rootnodes = $this->getRootNodes(true);
foreach($rootnodes AS $rid => $rootnode) {
$nodeSet = $nodeSet + $this->getBranch($rootnode, true);

should be:

$rootnodes = $this->getRootNodes(true,$aliasFields,$addSQL);
foreach($rootnodes AS $rid => $rootnode) {
$nodeSet = $nodeSet + $this->getBranch($rootnode, true,$aliasFields,$addSQL);

to use the possibilities of $aliasFields and $addSQL together with NESE_SORT_PREORDER

Please look at this. I don't know if this chnge will result in any other problems.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net.

In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.
