Description:
------------
I am a Debian Developer that has attempted to package Image_Color for inclusion within the Debian distribution; however, this has been halted by the licensing that is currently used. The consenus has been that either a dual-license or use of the LGPL license is needed as the current PHP license does not meet the Debian Free Software Guidelines because of clause #6 in the 3.0 version of the license and clause #5 in the 2.2 version.

Hi Jeremy, I'm very understanding of your request for a different license. I think the decision to use the PHP license was a bad idea. But, seeing as I've only written a small part of the package, I don't know if it would be proper for me to change the license. I'll put an email out onto the pear-dev list and ask what people think.
