Whenever I try to use any package that uses PEAR::Date under PHP 5.1, I get an error, as PEAR::Date tries to redefine the date class that is built in to PHP 5.1.

As far as I can tell, PEAR::Date is incompatible with PHP 5.1

And this is not a incompatiblity :)
