Description:
------------
I get Segmentation Fault error when parsing some text using Text_MediaWiki.
Also, i modified Text/Wiki/MediaWiki.php by modifying
'Prefilter',
'Delimiter',
// 'Plugin',
Into
'Prefilter',
'Delimiter',
'Code', // << Here!
// 'Plugin',
Test script:
---------------
BBCode.txt: http://hashphp.org/pastebin.php?pid=6137
<?php
require_once("Pear.php");
require_once("Text/Wiki/Mediawiki.php");
$text=file_get_contents("BBCode.txt");
$pp=new Text_Wiki_Mediawiki();
$tt=$pp->transform($text,"xhtml");
return $tt;
?>
Expected result:
----------------
Parsed BBCode.txt using MediaWiki
Actual result:
--------------
I backtraced it to using "php4 script.php" and it simply returns "Segmentation fault".
The sample script is different from my actual script but returns the same error.
I get the same error with few other scripts that have <code tag as well as { , [ and other characters that might cause it to crash.
I am using shared hosting ( with ssh access at least ) where i could find some errors.
Here's what i got with gdb tracing, nothing much though :
