Description:
------------
While looking for a UK phone number validation script I came
across this website (http://www.braemoor.co.uk/software/
index.shtml) with an excellent function using the Ofcom
specification. Please contact the author about using this
script in Validate_UK.

I tried with this page, http://www.braemoor.co.uk/software/telnumbers.shtml you have mentioned above. But it is not working. I tried with this number 08701644013.

The reason why the Braemoor script doesn't accept 08701644013 is that 0870 numbers are special service rate numbers, and are therefore deemed to be inappropriate. Obviously this check could be removed very easily.
